Maine Maple Syrup

All our maple syrup is Grade A and made in Maine.

Grade A is the kind you pass around the table. The amber selected refers to when the syrup was tapped from the trees as it is lighter during the beginning of the season and becomes darker as the season progresses. Eventually it becomes so dark it drops to Grade B which is only used in certain recipes. Light amber is considered fancier by some since it is also in less supply. Some Mainahs prefer the dark amber for its stronger maple flavor.

We recommend medium amber if you aren't sure which you would prefer!
